Current Agricultural Weather Conditions

For Norrisville Area Farms and Agriculture

Soil conditions are monitored using Calibrated WATERMARK Sensors set North &

South in a 2 acre open field at 6, 24 & 36 inch depths. The soil moisture tension

is measured in Centibars with "0" indicating saturated soil and "100" or higher

indicating the soil is becoming dangerously dry. Data updates every 10 minutes.

*Soil Moisture sensors will read 200 when soil temperatures are below freezing.
